  2. This tour was a gruelling one for the King as he cross crossed the states making fans happy who witnessed the shows
    His suits by this time _ were getting more elaborate with jewels in their abundance
    His shows were rockin as his band were hot
    He had only the best with them

  4. Elvis band was handpicked by Elvis as he rang each of them personally to join him at Vegas prior to the Opening show that took place on July 31st '69
    Charlie Hodge (Elvis friend from the army days ) and Joe Esposito were resent when the calls were made
    They stuck alongside him from 1969 to 1977 _ whist the bass player ( Jerry Scheff ) was replaced briefly in '75 with Duke Bardwell and Emory Gordy too and Elvis had two drummers _ Ronny Tutt and Larrie Londin
