    Many thanks to marco in sharing it
    This was the beginning of the end on my humble opinion of Elvis

    Soon after this season of shows his personal life was in ruin with the break up with Cilla
    The 71 shows were fast paced at Vegas as on tour too

    Long Live The King and the legacy that is Elvis Presley

      Opening Night January 26th to Closing Show February 23rd '71:

      The Opening- Comedian to Open Show was _ Bob Melvin
      Opening Act _ Sweet Inspirations

      During this season Elvis was on top form vocally and his stature

      The days of the movie cameras being at the International Hotel filming him was a distant memory to most fans _

      Elvis was slim and a true professional in his art

      Fans travelled from far and wide to witness his shows

      The Dinner and the Midnight shows were well paced

      These bought great revenues into the city and into the hotel

      The employees at the International were working hard to please the fans and to the clientiele @ Vegas

      Vegas was buzzing so was Elvis and his musicians and crew who worked along side him
