  3. Hi, Marco!
I think this is not the original label. It has copyright notice in Spanish near the edge (it should be in Portuguese), and no RCA Victor logo. It has also a very strange layout for a record supposed to be made in the 50s, particularly in Brazil. Perhaps this is a counterfeit copy of Elvis's very sought after first Brazilian album.
    Best regards.

    1. Yes, this is an unofficial reissue, as is shown on Discogs. The label, 706 Union Flash, have also issued this on CD. Nice item, anyway. I have just downloaded it, Thanks!

    2. Thanks for infos! So... Is this one bootleg? That's very strange... It is not listed on "Bootleg Elvis" book !

    3. It is an unofficial reissue, almost certainly made in recent years, and certainly not the original Brasilian issue. There are three Brazilian pressings that I know: 1956, 1958 and 1961; all of them with the unmistakable RCA Victor label, and all of them are shown on Discogs.com. This reissue and its equivalent CD appear there too. Maybe it came out after the refered book (I don't know if the book lists unofficial releases of official albums like this one).
They even used the Gruve/Gard technology logo on the label, instead of the RCA logo! Far out, I would say ;-)

  4. I agree with Ricardo Alpendre - many thanks for the info Ricardo
Many officials had many flaws on them as in the printing of labels etc
There are a few counterfeits around from all parts of the world
I am enjoying this one here immensely many thanks and keep up the great work here

    1. I liked it very much too, Ronny. Being Brazilian, it is very special for me to simulate the way many Brazilian fans first heard Elvis in their home phonographs back in 1956, with an album that had Scotty and Bill on the cover besides having such a curious playlist. The guys at RCA Victor in Brazil were insane enough to enlarge a 7" EP cover art to fit in a 12" LP cover! Regardless of the fact that this LP is an unofficial reissue, it is very worth having or, second best, downloading!
