    Info
1- Glenda Farrell who played Ma Tatum in film and Tommy Farell who played MSgt William Bailey in film were mother and son in real life .

In the smokey mountains only black bears exist so this is a blooper in film
    ....
3- It's reported that Elvis loathe the strawberry blonde wig as the hillbilly - in the film simply because it reminded him of the days in the fifties when he dyed his hair as hix natural hair was blonde
    ....
4- The song ''Pappy won't you please come home ''has been occasionally been credited to singer Dolores Egdin but it was Glenda Farell who did the vocals herself
    .....
5- Yvonne Craig acted as Azlea Tatum
She acted in two other movies alongside Elvis in films such as It Happened At The World's Fair and in Hsrem Holiday too
